Pharmasolve N–methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP), cGMP grade and 2-Pyrol 2-pyrrolidone are used to solubilize drug actives and are typically used in parenterals for veterinary applications. Pharmsolve NMP is also used to enhance the bioavailability of topical and transdermal formulations.
